About

Welcome to Yucca Day Spa in Ahwatukee! ❤️ A little about us: We are a private nail suite offering manicures, pedicures, and now --> acrylic services by Dameca. Emily first opened the doors in Spring 2023 after moving to the valley. Prior to living in Phoenix, she was in Northern Arizona where she was raised in a town bordering the Navajo Nation. Yucca relates to her first clan, Haask'aan Hadzohí which in Navajo means Yucca-strung-out-on-a-line. The plant has historically been used to make soaps, to heal skin ailments, and has been known to cleanse toxins from the air. Just like the yucca plant heals, our mission is to provide a renewing service that cleanses the mind and body. Join me in welcoming our new nail tech, Dameca! We both currently work together and cannot be more excited to start this partnership. Manicures, pedicures, and acrylic services are now available to book with Dameca.

Hello, I'm Emily and it's so exciting to be apart of your self care journey! Since 2016, I've been licensed and working in the spa industry. My career started out in a pedicure spa where I mentored under a certified master pedicurist. Here I gained a passion for safe and relaxing nail services. Getting your nails done should be equally sanitary and comfortable, something I felt was lacking in traditional nail spas. Opening Yucca Day Spa is a dream come true and I'm happy to share that with you!
